Anti-LGBT bill HB-135 was not an innocent “religious freedom” act

Even as its sponsors pulled it from the Wyoming State Legislature last week following intense public outcry, House Bill 135’s supporters continued to claim that it was merely an innocent “religious freedom bill” that would not have harmed LGBT folks. Better Wyoming asked University of Wyoming law professor Jacquelyn Bridgeman to read the bill and help clear up exactly what HB-135 was all about.
