DON’T TAX OUR PUBLIC LANDS TO DEATH.

We need people to speak louder than lobbyists

Mining industry lobbyists love to remind Wyoming lawmakers who “pays the bills” for the state.

In return for their mineral tax payments, mining companies get whatever they want from Wyoming officials: drilling leases, deregulation, and a blind eye to the harm mining projects do to our public lands, wildlife, and climate.

The people of Wyoming need to stand up and demand that our elected officials find new ways to pay for the state’s budget. We must speak louder than the lobbyists and encourage lawmakers to make the right choice for Wyoming’s future.

Join Better Wyoming at a rally in Pinedale in advance of the Joint Revenue Committee’s meeting Sept. 18 – 19.

Or write to Wyoming legislators and tell them to create new revenues that won’t encourage the harm of our public lands, wildlife, and climate.
