Session Update
Lawmakers in the House from Sweetwater and Carbon Counties were pretty evenly split during this time on whether they followed orders from the Freedom Caucus or cast votes on a case-by-case basis, with the latter generally supporting funds and policies that increase affordable healthcare access and strengthen public schools. In the Senate, lawmakers were slightly more of a mixed bag, although Sens. Larry Hicks and John Kolb voted uniformly against healthcare access and schools.
