Session Update
In the final two weeks of the 2025 legislative session, Albany County lawmakers mostly voted against bills that would decrease healthcare access, harm public education, and hurt workers. Rep. Ocean Andrew and Sen. Gary Crum—who each cast votes supporting decreased healthcare access, harm to schools, and harm to workers—were exceptions.
Check out our Feb. 24 - Mar 7 statewide report for more information on the bills that advanced.
