Albany County Courthouse

Albany County Accountability Report 3: Feb. 10 – 27

Session Update

Most Albany County lawmakers voted in favor of funding and legislation that would improve healthcare access and support public education. The exception, once again, was Rep. Ocean Andrew, who voted against these things.

The Senate delegation was split on a tax break for coal companies, while both senators and most House members voted to support funding for wildfire relief. Sen. Chris Rothfuss voted for a bill that would increase energy costs for homeowners who use solar.
