A 4th of July Parade in downtown Lander Wyoming - Fremont County

Fremont and Hot Springs Counties Accountability Report 2: Jan. 27 – Feb. 7

Session Update

Fremont and Hot Springs County lawmakers were a mixed bag when it came to bills that decrease healthcare access, harm public schools, restrict voting, cut funding from local and county governments, and support veterans become mental health professionals.

Aside from Sen. Tim Salazar, the Senate delegation opposed a resolution to privatize and sell the federal public lands within Wyoming’s borders.

Check out our Jan. 24 - Feb. 7 statewide report for more information on the bills that advanced.
