Session Update
Most local Park County lawmakers during this period followed orders from (or aligned with) the Freedom Caucus and voted against funding and policies that would increase affordable healthcare access and improve public schools. Meanwhile, local Washakie County lawmakers—Rep. Martha Lawley and Sen. Ed Cooper—were more of a mixed bag, but generally voted in favor of supporting healthcare and schools, as well as funding for wildfire relief.
