Session Update
Most local Sheridan County lawmakers during this period followed orders from (or aligned with) the Freedom Caucus and voted against funding and policies that would increase affordable healthcare access and improve public schools. Meanwhile, local Johnson County lawmakers—Rep. Marilyn Connolly and Sen. Barry Crago—were more of a mixed bag, but generally voted in favor of supporting healthcare and schools, as well as funding for wildfire relief.
