Session Update
Sheridan and Johnson County lawmakers in the House voted mostly in support of bills that decrease healthcare access, harm public education, cut funding for local and county government, and restrict voting. Rep. Marilyn Connolly was an exception.
The Senate delegation was split on issues like public lands, public education, and funding wildlife and outdoor recreation, but both Sens. Bo Biteman and Barry Crago voted against incentivizing veterans to become mental health providers.
Check out our Jan. 24 - Feb. 7 statewide report for more information on the bills that advanced.
